Do you have childcare experience? Do you live close to downtown Minneapolis/Saint Paul? If so, The Elite Nanny Team would love to have you as a temporary babysitter for jobs where families need coverage for one or two days.

Often these part-time nanny gigs are on the weekends or holidays. They also pay $20 an hour at least usually, and you can take home your nanny pay the same day.

Many of our temporary jobs are based in hotels or private homes. Have you ever provided coverage for a family for a date night? These jobs would be a lot like a date night nanny gig.

You will be caring for infants, toddlers, or school children. You will be responsible for their safety, monitoring their activity, and communicating with their parents. Some minor duties will include providing lunch or dinner, playing puzzles or reading to the kids, and keeping an eye on them.

All we ask is that you have at least three years of professional childcare experience. Additionally, you will need a car and a valid driver's license.

The nicest aspect of these childcare positions is that you choose when you want to work. After a Zoom interview, you may get to join our group, where we post last-minute jobs. If you are the first person to respond, you get the job! It's that easy!

Pay: $22 - $30 an hour on average.
Schedule: Work when you want!

Childcare Characteristics Requested
Please be legally authorized to work in the United States or equivalent
A high school degree, GED, or equivalent
Current or former teaching assistants, classroom teachers, or childcare supervisors
The nanny will have a provable work history as an infant or toddler childcare expert.
Familiarity with emergency preparedness protocol.
The right candidate will be a team player with fantastic communication skills.
Please have at least two years working as a nanny or babysitter for a family unrelated to you.
The ideal nanny will have solid decision-making skills and an interest in taking initiative.
Impressive organizational skills.

Babysitting Skills Needed
Paid experience with infants and toddlers engaging them in age-appropriate development activities.
Experience managing multiple children (such as doing playdates or in a school setting)
The nanny will have familiarity with choking prevention, changing diapers, and safely feeding soft foods.
