Our nanny agency recruits experienced nannies and babysitters for incredible families. We want you to be happy and appreciated as a full-time or part-time nanny. As a childcare provider, you develop a strong bond with the kids you care for, and we hope you will want to stay with a family for at least a year, if not more. We offer high-paying jobs, great benefits, and ample vacation time.
About Professional Childcare Providers
Professional childcare providers are instrumental to a family's sanity. You are more than a babysitter who shows up and sits around. You are on the floor playing with the kids. You are at the park teaching them how to play nicely with others. Please teach manners such as "thank you" and "you're welcome during mealtime. You are a leader who exemplifies love, reliability, and stability.
A child is a sponge for information, and most clients want their nanny to take advantage of this. You may create lesson plans daily, leading the children in reading time, engaging them in pretend play, and teaching them social skills. Part of that involves managing behavior when a toddler is tired or responding lovingly to a hungry infant. Constant attention is fundamental to the children's safety, so we ask our nannies to avoid electronics.
In addition, you are a household manager who supports the parents by taking the initiative to take out the trash, empty the dishwasher, or organize the closets. Some families ask for your help preparing recipes for dinner, managing the kids' social calendar, or attending to errands. A successful nanny leaves the house neat, empties the trash, and keeps the kids content.
About Family Seeking an Early Education Expert
The parents are looking for a full-time, long-term childcare provider with an early education degree to care for their two children. The parents are originally from Los Angeles, and they love athletics. They primarily enjoy biking, hiking, yoga, and swimming, and they hope you do too! In addition to exercising hard, they work hard too. Ultimately, they relax even harder when they travel up north to their cabin for a long weekend getaway. They are hoping that you will join them sometime. They celebrate the week by ordering out Pizza and enjoying a Netflix movie night every Friday. They also love hosting barbeques in their backyard on a lake, so please know how to swim.
The family consists of two children, a 3mo and a 5yo. The 5yo will be moving into daycare part-time to gain added socialization skills before elementary school. While the preschooler is at home, Lo will be thrilled to play with Legos and dolls with you. This cutie also enjoys dressing up and performing karaoke-like stage performances for mom and dad, making them laugh! Unfortunately, this little cherub is severely allergic to peanuts, so please have experience avoiding this allergen since it would be a medical emergency. Lo is bilingual because their former nanny spoke Spanish, and the parents hope to continue the tradition.
You will primarily care for the 3mo newborn full-time. The baby is crib trained and recently began practicing tummy time. Lo is formula-fed and only spits up a little due to possible GERD. Mom and dad avoid using electronics to entertain both the infant and the toddler and prefer hands-on activities that are highly engaging and age-appropriate.
